In collaboration with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), OPUS Integrated Communication developed a comprehensive guide for combatting fraud, offering methods and recommendations for designing a communication strategy aimed at fraud prevention in EU co-financed programs.

The purpose of the guide was to explore how communication tools and strategies can be leveraged to create a specialized communication strategy to protect the financial interests of the European Union. It outlines the framework for implementation, key stakeholders, institutional context, issues to address, objectives, target audiences, and communication channels.

You can view the guide here.

The guide was designed by MILK Branding Professionals.

The project is funded by the European Commission’s Structural Reform Support Programme (DG-REFORM) and implemented by the UNODC in collaboration with the European Commission.

“USA-Greece: Celebrating 200 Years of Friendship”

OPUS Integrated Communication
successfully handled the promotion of the U.S. Diplomatic Mission’s campaign in Greece, celebrating the 200th anniversary of the Greek Revolution, titled “USA-Greece: Celebrating 200 Years of Friendship”. The campaign aimed to highlight the shared values and ideals that have formed a strong “bridge” of deep friendship and mutual respect between the two nations over the past two centuries, from the start of the Greek Revolution to the present day.

The first video of the campaign, featuring U.S. Ambassador Geoffrey Ross Pyatt, received a very positive reception and was widely shared on the U.S. Embassy’s social media channels. The video set the tone for the commemorative celebrations by emphasizing the importance of forging ties between the two countries 200 years ago, during Greece’s fight for independence, while showcasing the role of American philhellenes in the revolution. It also underscored the strong bonds between the two peoples throughout these two centuries and the commitment to the strategic partnership between the nations, which is now at its strongest point in modern history. The video highlighted key historical moments where the two countries stood side by side as allies, working together to build peace and prosperity.

All campaign videos followed an animated documentary format, featuring illustrated historical references that added dynamism to the interviews with surprise guests from both Greece and the U.S. Each film maintained a cohesive style, using engaging themes and rich visual content to tell the story.

The video production was managed by Opus, directed by Katerina Evangelakou with animation by Kleopatra Korai (lokey).

“A” movie

On March 19, 2013, at 12:00 p.m., the crowdfunding campaign we launched 45 days earlier on Indiegogo (www.indiegogo.com/alpha-movie) to fund the feature film “A”, directed by Stathis Athanasiou, successfully concluded.

The campaign achieved 107% of its goal, raising €64,366 (with an initial target of €60,000), making it the first feature film in Greece and the second in Europe to receive such significant support through crowdfunding.

At Opus Integrated Communication, we developed and executed the Press, Marketing, and Digital Marketing Plan, having taken on the project in October 2012.
